Moodboard and Initial Concept
Looking at the current HomeToGo website, it is clear that it does not have a strong tone of voice or demographic lean, and seeing as how this was the company’s new object, it was clear that it would require a significant overhaul. I started by working on a moodboard that would help define the new visual look.
Naming and Brand Identity
I created a few logo variations. I felt that I new color palette and fonts were needed, and an emphasis on certain words so they would create a sense of action or movement.
From the logo design and moodboard, I developed the UI guidelines that would be applied across the web and mobile applications.
I designed a few sample pages in desktop and mobile formats to showcase the vision of the new brand, and how that would translate into the organization of the site as well as the overall look and feel.
